Clean Out the Fridge Have you taken care of your refrigerator? Remember, you need to empty, defrost, and clean it out before the movers can load it. In the same vein as a to-do list, you should start separating different tasks such as packing order, contacting your primary care provider, transferring records, discontinuing utilities, and everything else by a weekly breakdown. Loading the Trailer If you’re loading your boxes into a truck, be sure to get the heavier items inside first and the lighter items towards the back of the truck. This will prevent your truck from being unbalanced. Also, load the truck a quarter at a time and fit everything as tightly together as possible.
