Weigh Down the Washer Machine If you’re planning on moving your washer machine, you can weigh down the appliance to keep it from moving around by filling it with blankets, pillows, hand towels, and other similar items.
Properly Packing Boxes Keep in mind that your movers will more than likely inspect your boxes for safety reasons. On moving day, be sure to single out which boxes require careful handling as you go through your inventory. Movers will also point out any boxes they think aren’t properly packed. Measuring Doorways Your new home may look nice and comfy, but there are some things you should keep in mind before you move in. One such detail is the width of your doorways. Be sure to measure them so you can figure out whether or not you can move your furniture and appliances in without any difficulty.

Well I\'m going to tell you all a little bit of my experiance with this company. I called them to move a few items of mine into my new apartment, The items were hevy so I had to hire some one and I\'m super glad I did because they are very well experianced in every way possible. I\'m happy I trusted them with my things. The thing were a grand piano, big wall paintings and a safe. The were very gentle with everything and protected it like their own. Thanx alot Twins 5.0000

Help U Move Jennifer Sharp 20 Aug 2010 While we were extremely pleased with the work Help U Move did ... While we were extremely pleased with the work Help U Move did to move us out and back into our home when we did some remodeling work, our inter-state move was underestimated, the actual move completely chaotic, and a mattress lost in the move. I gave Help U Move the benefit of the doubt at the time of the move and did not raise a fuss. However, when we discovered the mattress missing a few months later (they didn\'t do an inventory of our belongings so I didn\'t discover it was missing until we needed it) I tried repeatedly to resolve this issue with the company, requesting reimbursement for the lost mattress (since I had already paid more than the upper end of what was initially estimated), and NEVER received a return phone call from the owner or office manager; all contact/follow-up was initiated by me. As of the date of this review, the company also ignored attempts by the Better Business Bureau to resolve this issue on my behalf. Word to the wise: get references and use BBB firms. 1.0000
