Packing Your Kitchen Kitchen appliances and utensils can be sharp or blunt, and you should cover your bases when you’re packing these items. One great precautionary measure you can take is by using bubble wrap to protect these items during transit. If you’re saving your bubble wrap for more fragile items, you can use hand towels to wrap them individually. Hey, Plant Owners If you own plants, keep in mind that most moving companies won’t transport live and perishable things. Some states even prohibit the transportation of household plants. So unless you absolutely can’t part with them, you can always give your plants out to friends or charity.
