DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My worst moving nightmare came true when I used Chandler Handlers on Aug 28, 2011. Upon booking with the owner, Vickie, I agreed to $65 per hour, two men and a 24 ft. truck. They showed up an hour late with a semi-truck (to move one mile)!!! The unskilled driver, Bo, couldn’t maneuver the truck down my street so he parked at the end of the block! When I called Vickie to express my concern on the distance (time equals money) she informed me that their other truck had broken down and this was the only option. She then told me that since the semi needed a special driver the cost would be $80 per hour instead of the agreed upon $65. After trying to discuss our options with Bo he got very belligerent and said he was wasting his time and didn’t want to bother with me anymore. He actually walked out of the job!!! This left my husband and me to rent a U-Haul and make the move ourselves. They were unprofessional and their word means nothing.
