My son had reserved a car trailer to go to a car show and to trailer his collector car. He had to work late so he sent a friend to pick up the trailer and the girl that was working at the location at International Speedway blvd. REFUSED to rent th trailer. WHY IS UHAUUL IN THE RENTAL BUSINESS AND THEY REFUSE TO RENT A TRAILER?????? I know that this econony has not affected U Haul and they are not feeling the economic strain like everyone else so I guess thats why they REFUSE to rent trailers. If you are in need of a rental trailer or rental truck PLEASE, PLEASE I beg of you to use any other company other than UHAUL> This is not the first time that my son has had a problem with this location. He normally uses the Nova Road location and they treat him very nice but the INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY LOCATION IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS STORE. THEY DO NOT TREAT PEOPLE WITH ANY RESPECT OR LIKE THEY CARE IF THEY HAVE ANY BUSINESS SO BEING THAT THEY ACT LIKE THAT THEY SHOULD BE OBLIGED AND DO BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!!

My boyfriend went to the UHaul on Speedway in Daytona Beach and his best friend had reserved a car trailer to haul our car to a car show that was VERY important to us and the girl at the U Haul location at 6:15pm on Saturday April 30, 2011 REFUSED to rent the trailer to us. She was not the least bit concerned with whether we got a trailer from that store or not UHAUL SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! If you need to rent something GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. This is the 3rd time that they have been given a hard time at this location. The store on Nova Road is pretty good but they did not have any trailers so we had to go to Speedway even though we did not want to.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE!!!! GO SOMEPLACE ELSE.

Your Emergency Backpack
It’s a good idea to have an emergency kit or backpack ready as you move to your new home. You should reserve this backpack for unforeseen cases and pack it appropriately with all of the essential items. For example, you should have a small toiletry kit, bottles of water, a change of clothing, a first aid kid, and a flashlight in there.
Packing Your Kitchen
Kitchen appliances and utensils can be sharp or blunt, and you should cover your bases when you’re packing these items. One great precautionary measure you can take is by using bubble wrap to protect these items during transit. If you’re saving your bubble wrap for more fragile items, you can use hand towels to wrap them individually.
Heavy Duty Moving
If you’re looking for a full service mover that transports heavy cargo like boats and RVs, keep in mind that there are certain regulations placed by the Department of Transportation that movers have to abide by. For heavy equipment such as tractors, moving companies should offer specific accommodations for safe transportation such as registered blade guards, an adequately sized pintle hook, and wide selection of trailers. Some moving companies don’t even require you to disassemble your equipment. Take steps in figuring out which available service works for you and go from there when you’re looking for a company to move your heavy equipment.
Packing Your Table Lamps
When packing your table lamp, make sure you have an adequately sized box to accommodate it. If you can't find a carton that fits the size of your lamp, a dishpack carton will work as a substitute. Make sure you line the bottom of the box you're using with enough cushioning. So before you start packing your table lamp, remove the bulb and the lampshade. Wrap the lamp's cord around the base. Avoid using packing tape as it may strip the paint or outer coating of your lamp. Afterwards, cover the lamp in bubble wrap and fold over the edges on the top and bottom before you tape. Put the lamp in the box and fill any spaces with extra bubble wrap to prevent shifting during transit.
