Organizing Packing Boxes Once you’ve figured out all of the packing supplies you will need, try grouping similar-sized boxes together. You should have separate piles designated for certain items. This way, you won’t have to sort through heavy piles for a particular box you need. Packing Your Lamp Shadees Your lamp shades should be packed in a separate box from your lamps. Avoid using newspaper as stuffing material as the ink may cause stains on your shades. Use clean packing paper or bubble wrap to protect your lamp shades' linings. Try stacking your lamp shades into a single, large carton with packing material between each.
