Clean, Then Pack Before you start packing your belongings, clean your house first. This is a great way of ridding yourself of unnecessary clutter, figuring out what you want to keep, and starting your checklist. It’ll also give you more floor space for your supplies and to group boxes. Brokers for the Best Deals With their database of moving companies, moving brokers that are operating on a nationwide scale can often insure that you get discount moving company rates for your move. Many brokers often offer free moving quotes and compiled lists of moving companies in major cities and areas for you to search through at your leisure. So before you start making any definitive decisions on which carrier to hire, invest a little time with a moving broker and see what comes up. Chances are, you’ll find a deal you wouldn’t have found otherwise. Packing Heavy Items There are a few things you should keep in mind when you're packing items that weigh more than thirty pounds. Firstly, the box you're using should be of a stronger quality with seams that are either stitched or stapled. To prevent crushing or shifting, invest in corrugated or molded foams to protect your heavier belongings instead of packing paper or peanuts. Heavy cushioning could mean the difference between seeing your items safely home and finding them damaged after you unpack. Save Money, Eat In Moving takes a lot of time, especially packing. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't take some time to cook your own food. Eating fast food can be expensive, particularly if you're doing it day after day. This is also the best time for you to eat all of your frozen food given that perishable items can't be transported by movers. Also, canned food is a pain to pack and transport. You should finish them off as well.

Century Moving My husband said he had friends that were going to help him out... 4.0
My husband said he had friends that were going to help him out with our move ( for pizza and beer of course ) a couple of days before the move they were no where to be reached. So I started to panic. We had to be out and there was no time left. I called Century Moving and spoke with Chad, he told me to relax that we were covered. I did just that, I relaxed. Century Moving showed up 2 days later with a crew of 3 men and had us out in no time. What a great experience. I recommend Century Moving to anyone with moving needs.
