Registering In a New State When you’re moving long distance, you should prioritize what items should be packed first amongst other considerations. Registering your car is also something to be aware of since you’ll assumedly be crossing into another state. Remember that each state has its own set of rules in terms of vehicle registration and tags, so be sure to research it prior to your move. That way, you can take the necessary steps once you’re there. Appliance Checkup Be proactive about making sure that your appliances are hooked up and running smoothly once you move in. It’s also a good way of checking to see if your utilities are connected. Moving Your Pool Table The difference between a piano and a pool table is that the latter can be disassembled. If you don’t want to spend a lot of time taking apart your pool table, make sure to have a prepared path for the movers. Check to see if the path is clear by ridding anything that may be blocking the way. Also, pay attention to the walkway outside and make note if the sidewalk is broken, etc. Packing Your Printer or Scanner Any remote devices you may use with your computer, such as your printer and scanner, should be packed separately in their own boxes. Be sure to disconnect their respective cables and cords. If you don’t have the original boxes for these devices, pick an appropriately sized box for each and fill it with protective material to prevent any possible damage during transportation.

WOW! I must say I was very impressed with the Doyle Moving and Storage company. My son in law was coming back from Iraq and my daughter needed to get her belongings stored and moved into Colorado Springs from Ohio. From the first phone call to Lauren until the delivery showed up on base at Fort Carson things were flawless. Very friendly company and the delivery guys were wonderful. In fact I was so impressed with the delivery guys they both will get nice gift cards that I am sending to the office. I would highly recommend this company, and would not hesitate to use them again. NICE JOB DOYLE!
