Fill Out Your Prescription Do you have prescription medication you need to take on a routine basis? Be sure to fill out your prescription before you move so that you don’t have to worry about it. On moving day, make sure your medication is separated from your other items so that they don’t get mixed with everything else being loaded onto the truck. The Little Things Keep tabs on all of the little screws, nuts, and bolts when you’re dismantling your furniture. You can use Ziploc bags to pack them. Be sure to label them properly before putting them away! Properly Packing Boxes Keep in mind that your movers will more than likely inspect your boxes for safety reasons. On moving day, be sure to single out which boxes require careful handling as you go through your inventory. Movers will also point out any boxes they think aren’t properly packed. If this happens, the mover will likely suggest that the boxes in question need to be repacked or reinforced. And label your boxes with which room they are to go into at destination. This will help during the unpacking as the boxes will be in the correct area. Interstate Carriers There are two things you need to know if you’re considering on hiring an interstate carrier. In the case of any losses or damages that might happen during transit, interstate moving companies need to have or offer some kind of settlement plan. The company’s tariffs should also be available to anyone who wants a copy.

Gator Moving & Storage Co I set-up Gator Moving for my daughter Josyane, who was moving ... 5.0
I set-up Gator Moving for my daughter Josyane, who was moving from Gainesville to Alachua on 8-13-11. All furniture had to be transferred to the 3rd floor. The supervisor had a fantastic personality, and even gave my daughter emotional support over her broken marriage. Another worker had just lost his mom, and decided to work through his grief. The 3rd guy just kept on working. Whatever it took to get the job done. If I could have afforded it, I would have given each man a $ 1000.00 tip.

Thank you, Elissa Robertson
