Removing the Weights in a Grandfather Clock If you can’t afford to hire a clock specialist to service your grandfather clock, you can carefully remove the weights yourself. You should always don cotton gloves before you change/remove anything inside the clock. Remove the weights piece by piece and note each of their respective positions so you can reinstall them in the correct order. If the weights are suspended by cables, break off an adequately-sized piece of Styrofoam, cut a slit through the middle, and fit the Styrofoam around the pulley. This way, it'll prevent any damage your pulleys may receive during transit. Afterwards, remove the weights.

You'll want to take the cables out of the bike's stops. In order to slacken the brake cables, undo the releases on the arms or at the levers depending on what kind of bicycle you have. You can slacken the shifting cables by putting chain in the big cog combo before shifting down. Once all of the cables have been removed, you can disassemble the rest of the bike.

I don\'t know what kind of mover Keri had but Dick\'s Moving, Inc moved are belonging from florida to Mass. There were fantastic from start to finish. Moving is a stressful undertaking filled with uncertainties and anticipation. We are so happy that we chose Dick\'s Moving,Inc to move us. They caused all kinds of damage to our belongings and are now trying to deny our claim. The head mover head the moving sheets in his possession until he had everything off the truck. We showed him our damage as we found it and now we are suppose to eat the cost... We will see them in court! Stay far away from these movers... 1.0000
