Packing Your Printer or Scanner Any remote devices you may use with your computer, such as your printer and scanner, should be packed separately in their own boxes. Be sure to disconnect their respective cables and cords. If you don’t have the original boxes for these devices, pick an appropriately sized box for each and fill it with protective material to prevent any possible damage during transportation.

A great way to help them figure out which boxes go where is by taping names to the doors. Also, try mapping out the floor plans of your new house so they know where to go.
Taking Out Shelves Anything with shelves should be removed from their respective pieces of furniture before you move. This includes bookcases, television stands, curio and china cabinets, and hutches. Be sure to keep your shelf pins together in the same plastic bag once you're done.

I don\'t know what kind of mover Keri had but Dick\'s Moving, Inc moved are belonging from florida to Mass. There were fantastic from start to finish. Moving is a stressful undertaking filled with uncertainties and anticipation. We are so happy that we chose Dick\'s Moving,Inc to move us. From the moment there driver arrived we felt so at ease in their capable hands. It is not every day that you deal with people as courteous and caring as they were. They caused all kinds of damage to our belongings and are now trying to deny our claim. The head mover head the moving sheets in his possession until he had everything off the truck. We showed him our damage as we found it and now we are suppose to eat the cost... We will see them in court! Stay far away from these movers... 1.0000

They do not return calls,emails, or voicemails. They have lost or misplaced over 3k worth of my property. Almost every piece that showed up was damaged. They do not post any info on how to make a claim, they are rip off artists. There\'s got to be something that can be done to protect the consumer from doing buisness with them. I spend most of my nights wondering if my stuff has been sold or auctioned off. They refuse to provide me with my inventory sheets which its stated in the contract that I am entitled to. I have filed complaints with the BBB, and am about to contact a attourny to see if there is anything I can do to get my things back. I am now going to contact the travel section for the US Army and ensure these people are black listed from our system. Not going to let them do this to another soldier.. 1.0000
