Removing the Weights in a Grandfather Clock If you can’t afford to hire a clock specialist to service your grandfather clock, you can carefully remove the weights yourself. You should always don cotton gloves before you change/remove anything inside the clock. Remove the weights piece by piece and note each of their respective positions so you can reinstall them in the correct order. If the weights are suspended by cables, break off an adequately-sized piece of Styrofoam, cut a slit through the middle, and fit the Styrofoam around the pulley. This way, it'll prevent any damage your pulleys may receive during transit. Afterwards, remove the weights.

I just wanted to take a minute to sincerely thank you guys for providing us with the best moving experience I have had in my life. I have moved 5 times in the past 7 years and I wish I had called you guys the last 4 times. The guys were hard working but also enjoyable to spend the day with. I will definitely recommend A1A Coastal to anyone I know will be moving. I would also like to thank Rob the crew lead who was most helpful. He had to work late so he sent a friend to pick up the trailer and the girl that was working at the location at International Speedway blvd. REFUSED to rent th trailer. WHY IS UHAUUL IN THE RENTAL BUSINESS AND THEY REFUSE TO RENT A TRAILER?????? I know that this econony has not affected U Haul and they are not feeling the economic strain like everyone else so I guess thats why they REFUSE to rent trailers. If you are in need of a rental trailer or rental truck PLEASE, PLEASE I beg of you to use any other company other than UHAUL> This is not the first time that my son has had a problem with this location. He normally uses the Nova Road location and they treat him very nice but the INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY LOCATION IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS STORE. My boyfriend went to the UHaul on Speedway in Daytona Beach and his best friend had reserved a car trailer to haul our car to a car show that was VERY important to us and the girl at the U Haul location at 6:15pm on Saturday April 30, 2011 REFUSED to rent the trailer to us. She was not the least bit concerned with whether we got a trailer from that store or not UHAUL SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! If you need to rent something GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. This is the 3rd time that they have been given a hard time at this location. The store on Nova Road is pretty good but they did not have any trailers so we had to go to Speedway even though we did not want to.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE!!!! GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. 1.0000
