Separating Boxes Be sure to separate any boxes you plan on transporting yourself and mark “Do Not Load” so your movers will know.
Packing Your Printer or Scanner Any remote devices you may use with your computer, such as your printer and scanner, should be packed separately in their own boxes. Be sure to disconnect their respective cables and cords. If you don’t have the original boxes for these devices, pick an appropriately sized box for each and fill it with protective material to prevent any possible damage during transportation.
Properly Packing Boxes Keep in mind that your movers will more than likely inspect your boxes for safety reasons. On moving day, be sure to single out which boxes require careful handling as you go through your inventory. Movers will also point out any boxes they think aren’t properly packed. If this happens, the mover will likely suggest that the boxes in question need to be repacked or reinforced. And label your boxes with which room they are to go into at destination. This will help during the unpacking as the boxes will be in the correct area.
Moving Your Waterbed Before you move your waterbed, it may be in your best interest to invest in a protection plan in case it suffers any damage during transit. You'll want to drain the waterbed mattress with a drain pump, or if you're pressed for time, an electric pump which can deflate a waterbed mattress in half an hour. The time it takes to drain is contingent on what type of mattress you have and the water pressure. Once that's done, make sure you fold it from head to foot and pack it away in a carton. Make sure that there isn't anything inside that could potentially puncture it.

Plese do not deal with this company.....you will regret is This is the God\'s honest truth.... his was like the worse horror movie that I could ever imagine with this company, they are so very unprofessional, if the customer has any complaints, they call the customer names, take their money, do not replace anything or take responsibility for anything & blame everything on the customer. Roland Bornhauser has been arrested in the past with 5 prior felonies against him, Robbery, dealing in stolen property, burglary of a residence, grand theft of a firearm & multiple marijuana charges. He & his lying thieving buddies. According to the police report, 1 of my rings, 52 diamond,5 tier, white gold cocktail ring that my cousin gave me jewelry vanished during my move,along with my clothes, belongings, jewelry, & items that I had forever. I had 4-5 movers in my home & they said the move would be faster, LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE, WHERE DOES IT END?The wife Rose is the owner & Roland is the mover, they scammed me.My real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty, referred me to only (1) this company and no others. This real estate company & moving company are all scamming customers due there is no backgroud check on these businesses or drug tests as they own & work for the companies noted.....The Better Business Bureau gave the company an A rating aafter the move & a D- rating before the move.These type of companies should not be using people, no matter if they are family or sex offenders, robbers, thieves or violent criminals, they should never, never be in business again.It is a shame that companies support these type of companies & prior felons \"People like that have a place. I believe she was in on the take & knew what I had in my home.They were all verbally abusing me & calling me names after I paid them. When I called her after the move & my belongings were gone, her team laughed in my face. She should get out of the realty business & peoples homes due to her lack of integrity & false information. She and the movers were asking me lots of questions & curious about my belongings. They should all be put in Rikers prison & never let out. Once from Roanoke, Virginia, one within Ocala, Florida and one from Ocala, Floria to Sun City Center, Florida. I have never had a single problem with the move. I don\'t know what kind of mover Keri had but Dick\'s Moving, Inc moved are belonging from florida to Mass. There were fantastic from start to finish. Moving is a stressful undertaking filled with uncertainties and anticipation. We are so happy that we chose Dick\'s Moving,Inc to move us. They caused all kinds of damage to our belongings and are now trying to deny our claim. The head mover head the moving sheets in his possession until he had everything off the truck.
