Fill Out Your Prescription Do you have prescription medication you need to take on a routine basis? Be sure to fill out your prescription before you move so that you don’t have to worry about it. On moving day, make sure your medication is separated from your other items so that they don’t get mixed with everything else being loaded onto the truck.
Items Not Recommended To Move The following are items you should not leave for the movers to transport: -Financial documents -Certificates of deposit -IRA’s-Stocks-Bonds-Airline tickets-Car keys-Address books-Checkbook-Computer disk storage-Family photographs-Wedding albums-Personal video tapes-Insurance policies-Deeds-Prescription medications-Medical and dental records-School records-Documents pertaining to new home-Open containers such as shampoos, dish soap, and liquor are not recommended because they may leak.-Candles are not recommended because they may melt and cause damage to other property.
Packing for College Moving to college is an exciting time for every inexperienced young person looking to leave the family fold. Due to this, would-be college students often go overboard when they’re deciding what to bring with them. When you’re moving to college, think about the bare essentials and what’s already been provided: a desk, mini-fridge, bed, bookcase, coat hangers, etc. Be sure to find out what is acceptable and what isn’t prior to moving in. For example, in most campuses microwaves aren’t allowed in the dormitories.
Moving Your Waterbed Before you move your waterbed, it may be in your best interest to invest in a protection plan in case it suffers any damage during transit. You'll want to drain the waterbed mattress with a drain pump, or if you're pressed for time, an electric pump which can deflate a waterbed mattress in half an hour. The time it takes to drain is contingent on what type of mattress you have and the water pressure. Once that's done, make sure you fold it from head to foot and pack it away in a carton. Make sure that there isn't anything inside that could potentially puncture it.

They tell me to call to come and get the boxes and then I call and I am told oh we don\'t know when we will be back out there, it could be awhile. They were very rough with my boxes and broke several items of mine. They put very heavy boxes on top of fragile boxes which is why so much stuff was brokes even though they were packes extremely well. I would never ever use these people. They also took advantage of our kindness and became rude at the end once they realized they were almost done and could leave. We went out of our way to be considerate and hospitable to them and we were taken advantage of! Use someone else 1.0000

He had to work late so he sent a friend to pick up the trailer and the girl that was working at the location at International Speedway blvd. REFUSED to rent th trailer. WHY IS UHAUUL IN THE RENTAL BUSINESS AND THEY REFUSE TO RENT A TRAILER?????? I know that this econony has not affected U Haul and they are not feeling the economic strain like everyone else so I guess thats why they REFUSE to rent trailers. If you are in need of a rental trailer or rental truck PLEASE, PLEASE I beg of you to use any other company other than UHAUL> This is not the first time that my son has had a problem with this location. My boyfriend went to the UHaul on Speedway in Daytona Beach and his best friend had reserved a car trailer to haul our car to a car show that was VERY important to us and the girl at the U Haul location at 6:15pm on Saturday April 30, 2011 REFUSED to rent the trailer to us. She was not the least bit concerned with whether we got a trailer from that store or not UHAUL SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! If you need to rent something GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. This is the 3rd time that they have been given a hard time at this location. The store on Nova Road is pretty good but they did not have any trailers so we had to go to Speedway even though we did not want to.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE!!!! GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. 1.0000
