Fill Out Your Prescription Do you have prescription medication you need to take on a routine basis? Be sure to fill out your prescription before you move so that you don’t have to worry about it. On moving day, make sure your medication is separated from your other items so that they don’t get mixed with everything else being loaded onto the truck. Your Emergency Backpack It’s a good idea to have an emergency kit or backpack ready as you move to your new home. Moving for Your Job If you're moving because of your job, here are a few expenses you should be aware of: temporary lodging costs, travel costs, find a home, packing and moving costs. Typically, these are covered in the case of a corporate relocation. Don't hesitate to inquire about paid time-off if to search for a home in the new city.
