Using Your Old Shoeboxes For shoe aficionados, if you’ve kept the original shoeboxes that your collection of shoes came with, moving them will be that much easier. Not only will it save you from purchasing new boxes, it’ll also prevent any visual damage to your footwear. If you don’t have the shoeboxes your shoes came in, don’t stack them all into a single box without wrapping them in some protective cover individually.
Packing Clothes When it comes to your clothes, there are a variety of different ways to pack them. For your daily clothes that you wear at home, you can simply fold and put them in plastic or vacuum-sealed bags. For your work clothes and more expensive garments, you should consider purchasing wardrobe boxes with hanging bars. Protective plastic covers are also a good investment for jackets and dresses.
Furniture Placement Before you move into your new home, you should look around for anything that may impact your furniture placement. Some examples of this include: built-in bookshelves, wainscoting, radiators, vents, columns, and fireplaces.
Moving Pets by Plane This may seem obvious, but you should try to book a direct flight for your pet to minimize the time your pet spends sitting outside. Some of the times you will need to have handy in order to transport your pet include a health certificate from the vet and a pet container. Some airlines offer their own container which meets airline regulations. Be sure to check with your airline of choice beforehand. Also, a good way to reassure and comfort your pet for the flight is by giving it something you wear, such as an old sweater.

So a representative from the company called me on 19 March 2012 and stated that my furniture would be delivered on 22 March 2012. I took off from work that day and around 3pm had still not received a phone call. So I call the company and spoke with the same representative who told me that she did not say 22 March 2012, but 29 March 2012. I know for a fact she said 22 March 2012 because that is my Father\'s birthday and I mentioned that. She said the truck was \"full\" anyway for the 22 March 2012 delivery which just leads me to believe the company just failed to call me to reschedule. The lady I spoke with was very rude as well. I cannot believe they are in business. I will NEVER do business with this company ever again. I\'m about to write the company I bought the furniture from too and let them know about this company they choose to use. Ridiculous! 1.0000

Peachtree Movers NDC 23 Jul 2011 Took them thru house as soon as they arrived to show them what... Took them thru house as soon as they arrived to show them what was to be moved. Near end of move, was told truck wasn\'t big enough. They made NO attempt to get another truck. I had to be out of house that day and had no time to get someone else. Ended up loosing thousands of $ of furnishings. When I e-mailed all the people I had dealt with and told them of dissatisfaction, no one even bothered to contact me. And, they overcharged me by not deducting my deposit from my payment. Very dissatisfied, very stressful. 2 Men & A Truck asked what all I was moving and I walked thru the house telling them of everything. PT Movers did not ask. 2 Men couldn\'t do move when I needed it done. If movers had loaded truck properly, it would not have been an issue. 2.0000

Was impressed for the first 25 minutes..after that, their truck rolled downhill into another truck, after which they stood around on the truck and in my garage alot, until they were \"done\" loading up--one of them would be idly walking around the garage or their truck, texting on his phone and not even acknowledge me standing there watching him! They marked up my walls and door trim, left 18 grease stains from one of their shoes on the carpet that had to be hand-cleaned; they dawdled around so much I finally said I would get the rest of the items that were being moved. Even though there was still plenty of room on their truck--I didn\'t want to pay for their time any longer than I had to, at that point! They ran down the mailbox on the way out of the drive, lied (and I mean straight-out LIED!) about their job and drive time, and loaded items they were specifically instructed to leave--and had the nerve to look me in the face and say I told them the items go!! Unbelievable..and to top it all off they destroyed my largest antique piece--the one I had them load first so it would be padded and not damaged a bit--beyond repair, so it is now utterly worthless! When I called and left the owner a voicemail asking him simply to please call me at his earliest convenience afterward, he would not return my call...funny, he didn\'t waste time getting back to me immediately when they wanted my business before the move! And NO this is not a competitor trying to make them look bad--they do that quite well on their own!! 1.0000

I moved from Marietta, GA, to Tullahoma, TN, and things couldn\'t have been better. They showed up on time, they loaded everything within the estimated timeframe, and they delivered everything the next morning, just as scheduled. Many thanks to Greg Gainey for his estimating skills, and to John, Mark and Chris for taking good care of my furniture during the move. By the way, this is the second time I\'ve used TM&T, and the second time I was very pleased with the results. 5.0000
