Hey, Plant Owners If you own plants, keep in mind that most moving companies won’t transport live and perishable things. Some states even prohibit the transportation of household plants. So unless you absolutely can’t part with them, you can always give your plants out to friends or charity. Transporting Medicine Before you pack your medicine for moving, seal all of the caps with masking tape. Naturally, your medicine bottles should be packed in an upright position. For certain drugs such as insulin, exposure to heat can cause it to lose potency. Talk to your pharmacist and inquire about what measures you can take to prevent this. It's recommended that you transport your own medication.
