Packing for College
Moving to college is an exciting time for every inexperienced young person looking to leave the family fold. Due to this, would-be college students often go overboard when they’re deciding what to bring with them. When you’re moving to college, think about the bare essentials and what’s already been provided: a desk, mini-fridge, bed, bookcase, coat hangers, etc. Be sure to find out what is acceptable and what isn’t prior to moving in. For example, in most campuses microwaves aren’t allowed in the dormitories.
Small-engine Vehicle Storage
If you own an ATV, motorcycle, or some kind of small-engine vehicle, there are certain things you need to keep in mind before you store them into a self-storage facility. For one, licensed vehicles such as motorcycles require updated tags, otherwise your self-storage facility may not allow you to store your vehicle.
Clean, Then Pack
Before you start packing your belongings, clean your house first. This is a great way of ridding yourself of unnecessary clutter, figuring out what you want to keep, and starting your checklist. It’ll also give you more floor space for your supplies and to group boxes.
Packing Your Bathroom
When you’re packing your bathroom, make sure you don’t end up putting your essential toiletries away in the box as well. Keep your toothbrush, soap, and shampoo in a separate bag or container so you can use it when you need it.
