Weigh Down the Washer Machine If you’re planning on moving your washer machine, you can weigh down the appliance to keep it from moving around by filling it with blankets, pillows, hand towels, and other similar items. Furniture Placement Before you move into your new home, you should look around for anything that may impact your furniture placement.
