Pat and her crew were fantastic. They were able to accommodate our timing, moved our things safely and quickly, were very pleasant, and worked hard the whole time they were here. We looked into other moving services in the area, and they were charging the same hourly rate for 2 guys that Lefty\'s charged for 4! Using Lefty\'s was an excellent experience that I plan to repeat the next time that I move.

Packing Your Printer or Scanner Any remote devices you may use with your computer, such as your printer and scanner, should be packed separately in their own boxes. Be sure to disconnect their respective cables and cords. If you don’t have the original boxes for these devices, pick an appropriately sized box for each and fill it with protective material to prevent any possible damage during transportation.
Properly Packing Boxes Keep in mind that your movers will more than likely inspect your boxes for safety reasons. On moving day, be sure to single out which boxes require careful handling as you go through your inventory. Movers will also point out any boxes they think aren’t properly packed. If this happens, the mover will likely suggest that the boxes in question need to be repacked or reinforced. And label your boxes with which room they are to go into at destination. This will help during the unpacking as the boxes will be in the correct area.
Small-engine Vehicle Storage If you own an ATV, motorcycle, or some kind of small-engine vehicle, there are certain things you need to keep in mind before you store them into a self-storage facility. For one, licensed vehicles such as motorcycles require updated tags, otherwise your self-storage facility may not allow you to store your vehicle.
Oil Paintings Oil paintings require special handling when you move. Be sure to use non-acidic plastic wrap for the painting before wrapping it again with protective material such as bubble wrap. And just to make sure your painting is well-protected during transit, get a picture box to pack it in.
