Registering In a New State When you’re moving long distance, you should prioritize what items should be packed first amongst other considerations. Registering your car is also something to be aware of since you’ll assumedly be crossing into another state. Remember that each state has its own set of rules in terms of vehicle registration and tags, so be sure to research it prior to your move. Most people don't know that it's common courtesy to tip their movers, especially since you'll have to pay a substantial sum for the move, but it doesn't have to be some extravagant sum. It's recommended that you don't tip any less than twenty dollars to your movers if they've performed their job well.
