Moving Out of Your Apartment? Regardless of whether or not you're on a month-to-month lease, you should give an official written notice of your move-out date at least a month in advance. This is standard procedure and it can give you and your landlord sufficient time to settle matters such as your security deposit. If you're on a full-term lease, you may be liable for an early termination penalty. If it's possible, schedule your move-out date around the same time as the end of your lease to avoid paying for the penalty.

Interstate Moving & Storage J.M.K. 2 May 2012 TERRIBLE. I have no idea how this company stays in business. ... TERRIBLE. I have no idea how this company stays in business. Dealing with them will be a long, drawn-out process, a fight and struggle just to get the item you previously paid for. I ordered a dining table (total of two large boxes) from World Market. Here\'s what I dealt with... -Claims that they called to schedule a delivery time but they never actually called. - On my day of delivery I waited from 9am-5pm and no one showed up OR called. - I called the following morning only to find out they didn\'t have my entire shipment so it was never ready to be delivered in the first place. -Finally, a delivery was scheduled for the next week but when they showed they ONLY GAVE ME ONE OF MY ITEMS. -I called to make them aware of this a mere 15 minutes after they dropped off box#1, but waited on hold for 45 minutes. When I finally spoke to someone, they told me it was too late to turn around and bring back the second item and that they would call me to reschedule. -I was called to reschedule FOR THE THIRD TIME - and they informed me they couldn\'t come back for two more days. I kindly agreed to a window of 2 hours, 10-12 on they day they chose. I told the shipper I wasn\'t able to wait past noon. We agreed to a time before noon. -The next day I get a call saying they\'ll be there between noon and 2pm. I called AGAIN to make them aware that I didn\'t agree to that time the previous day and the shipper told me he made a note in the system that the package needed to be at my home before noon. -The next day I WAIT AGAIN and no package. I left for work at noon and called them to tell them to just leave the package at the door. I argued with the manager who told me they needed a signature. Finally, after having to threaten them with calling their higher-ups, they agreed to leave the package at my door. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SERVICE, BIG OR SMALL. 1.0000

Dn Van Lines Michael Fairbanks 4 Apr 2012 I've used many movers in the past, but this company stands out... I\'ve used many movers in the past, but this company stands out head and shoulders above them all. I moved this March from Arlington to Boston under a tight timetable and an even tighter budget. These guys not only showed up when they were supposed to, they also actually beat the quote that they gave me. Now don\'t get me wrong, these guys were NOT the cheapest option out there, but considering they showed up on time, came in under budget, did not damage any of my furniture, and did it all with smiles on their faces, I could not ask for more. If you\'re thinking of using them, I recommend you do and you won\'t be disappointed. 5.0000

HIRED THESE PEOPLE LISA GREG AND THERE TWO SIDE KICKS AND THEIR DOG SHEP WHO RAN AROUND THE HOUSE WHILE THEY WERE MOVING MY FRIEND OUT OF HER APARTMENT SAD SITUATION THEY WENT INTO HER REFRIGERATOR AND ATE HER FOOD WITHOUT HAVING THE COMMON COURTESY TO ASK AND NOW LET ME TELL WHAT TOOK PLACE #ONE NEVER COVERED HER FURNITURE RUINED HER BEDROOM SET HAD THE DOG RUNNING UP AND DOWN HER LONG HALL RIPPED HER BLANKET UP. SHE HAD CASH IN A MONEY JAR THAT DISSAPEARED AND A BLOW UP MATTRESS BRAND NEW GONE SHE CALLED THEY HAVE NO IDEA. At some stage one of them stole my purse.
