Packing Your Mirrors Packing mirrors require special attention. You can safely wrap your mirrors in tissue paper or cover the mirror face with masking tape. However, if you have more expensive mirrors to move, you should consider investing in boxes that are specifically designed for transporting mirrors. Items Not Recommended To Move The following are items you should not leave for the movers to transport: -Financial documents -Certificates of deposit -IRA’s-Stocks-Bonds-Airline tickets-Car keys-Address books-Checkbook-Computer disk storage-Family photographs-Wedding albums-Personal video tapes-Insurance policies-Deeds-Prescription medications-Medical and dental records-School records-Documents pertaining to new home-Open containers such as shampoos, dish soap, and liquor are not recommended because they may leak.-Candles are not recommended because they may melt and cause damage to other property. Wiping Up Residue Once you move into your new home, take some time to check inside your cabinets and drawers. The management most likely had pest control take care of any extra roommates after the last tenant left, but you can never be too sure if the pesticides are harmful to people. Get a dishrag and wipe inside your drawers and cabinets. Tipping Your Movers Movers have it rough. Sure, it's a part of their job description when they're lugging your sofa into the truck, but that doesn't make their job any less difficult. Most people don't know that it's common courtesy to tip their movers, especially since you'll have to pay a substantial sum for the move, but it doesn't have to be some extravagant sum. It's recommended that you don't tip any less than twenty dollars to your movers if they've performed their job well.

Denoyer Brothers Moving & Stge I am in the military and have moved many times. Never have I ... 1.0
I am in the military and have moved many times. Never have I been so disappointed in a company. Now I usually expect an item or two to bet broken in a move. Well in my move they shattered a lamp. Stripped my outdoor patio table set (rendered it impossible to re-assemble) and completely broke the back frame on my couch. Like I said I have moved many times before. I have learned to take pictures and record the items in my house before the move. When I applied to be compensated for these items, they said they were like that when they picked them up. When I said I had video and pictures they outright refused to look and them and said no payments would be made. Very dishonest company with dishonest people. Stay away.
