Weigh Down the Washer Machine If you’re planning on moving your washer machine, you can weigh down the appliance to keep it from moving around by filling it with blankets, pillows, hand towels, and other similar items. Properly Packing Boxes Keep in mind that your movers will more than likely inspect your boxes for safety reasons. Keep your toothbrush, soap, and shampoo in a separate bag or container so you can use it when you need it.
