Fill Out Your Prescription Do you have prescription medication you need to take on a routine basis? Be sure to fill out your prescription before you move so that you don’t have to worry about it. On moving day, make sure your medication is separated from your other items so that they don’t get mixed with everything else being loaded onto the truck. Packing Your Printer or Scanner Any remote devices you may use with your computer, such as your printer and scanner, should be packed separately in their own boxes. Be sure to disconnect their respective cables and cords. If you don’t have the original boxes for these devices, pick an appropriately sized box for each and fill it with protective material to prevent any possible damage during transportation. Moving Labor If you have friends with strong backs or family members who can lend a helping hand, you can save money by asking them to help you out on moving day.
