I don\\\'t think anyone looks forward to moving whether it is on your own or with a mover. I mean literally everything seems to go wrong regardless right? Well I booked with New Planet Moving and they did everything they said they were going to. I had a pickup window of 3 days and although they came on day 3, they did get there within the time frame we agreed on. The delivery time was supposed to about 5-7 days, and they arrived on day 8... But with this being said they did a really good job on protecting my things, I had no damages and they did keep me up to date on everything once they KNEW the delivery schedule. The frustrating thing for most people I think is the fact that they can\\\'t tell you what is what until they are a day or two away from delivering. But I\\\'ve moved a lot and I know this to be true with other moving companies too. They do many different moves on each truck, and therefore they have a lot of different factors to consider. Traffic, delays, other customers taking longer, having more questions, customers with more to load than planned or whatever.\r\n\r\nI am very happy with the overall service I received from New Planet Moving, the only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the fact that they couldn\\\'t guarantee a pickup date in my area, and therefore I had to be available for 3 different days. I moved from Montana to Northern Virginia.

I moved with New Planet Moving back in 2009, and again this year. I received my stuff last week and just finally got everything unpacked. The only thing is a small scratch on the corner of the back of a dresser that has survived 4 moves so far in it's life LOL

When I used New Planet Moving the last time, I had no damages, and the movers were very helpful. So I of course wanted to use them for this move as well. They were able to accommodate my new home (with like 30 stairs) and waived the charge for me because I was a returning customer.

I have also referred a few of my friends to New Planet Moving who have also had good moves. And the moving company offers it's customer referral bonus' so be sure to tell your friends, and get free gift cards and stuff like that. I have already gotten 2.

These guys and gals did me just fine. The rate was good and stayed the same throughout. Every time I called they answered the phone, and were helpful. The movers who arrived to get my things were uniformed and clean. The main guy was a little short spoken, but super efficient and I felt confident that he would take the best care of my goods as well. When my delivery came, everything was in tact and I called to let them know of my satisfaction. They did ask me to please review them online so I really hope this helps! Thank you New Planet, and I recommend you whole heartetly.

I was honestly shocked to find that moving with a moving company was actually less expensive than moving myself. I had a great experience nothing broke and my price stayed where they quoted me. I will recommend this company to friends and family in the future. It cost me only $1400 to move 2,000miles.

I just want to tell you that we were pleased with your service from beginning to end. The guys at pick up were courteous and efficient.
We made contact with Carlos. He was kind and kept us up to date as to when he would be delivering. Both guys were patient and did a nice job.
My daughter was a little stressed during delivery and at the end found damage on a Secretary Desk. Carlos took a picture and said they would take care of it. He couldn't have been nicer. Later, I was able to point out that the damage was not on the part of New Planet but at another time period. When she was able to be calm, she had to agree that it was not New Planet's fault. Please disregard the damage claim.

I moved from California to Washington DC and I had a great move, and nothing was damaged. The girl was super nice and told me all the stuff that could or would be an extra charge upfront, several of my coworkers are relocating and i recommended new planet moving to do business with them because with all the scams i really fell lucky that we had a great move.

i moved over 2000mile and had no problems, they packed everything and i got my stuff like 2 days earlier than planned which was awesome cause i flew and was ready the next day lol- i had no damage the lady who helped me was knowledgable and nice and i didnt care to hear anything ppl ha to say about independenet carriers, they referred me to the dot to do research andmore i will hope i never move again but if i do illl move with them

We recently used your company for a cross-country move from California to NC! It started out a little shaky on my birthday when the movers showed up and I had an impossible driveway to deal with. They were very professional in every way and re-assured me that they would work it all out and get us moved that day! They did an excellent job and shuttled our 5 BR home down the street, wrapped everything, and completed it in less than 7 hours! They were also very kind and polite in every way!\r\n \r\nWe were given a 2-3 day window of when our furniture would be delivered to our home 2800 mile away. I was concerned about weather and the possibility of not receiving it for the weekend when we had family help. Well, they arrived even earlier than we were told and did another fabulous job unloading everything off the truck! Carlos even remembered our furniture and the room it came from when I mentioned where it was to be placed in our new home, although it was wrapped. They placed everything where we wanted and nothing got scratched or broken at all!!!! They completed the unloading with only 2 guys in a timely manner as well!!\r\n \r\nI would strongly recommend them for any move and will definitely use them again if we ever move again and I wanted to let you all know this! I moved with New Planet moving from Reno and had an excellent move with next day delivery. Recently I recommended my sister to use their service and she also had a good move. She did end up going over the quote slightly, and after investigation found she had left several large items off the inventory by mistake. The movers that arrived were uniformed, professional and fluent in english which was important as she is older, and language barriers are about impossible. In the future I will recommend New Planet with the advice to always quote higher than you think you are to be sure and safe.
