Budget Van Lines Inc
I must say I have not used many moving companies in my life (this was the first time i was moving), but Budget Van Lines really helped me figure it all out. It took some time before i got used to the idea that i wasn\'t going to be living in the same place anymore, but things change and this time it was for the better! I didn\'t have any problems and pretty much thanked them all that i could. Thanks for the move!

As a military brat, I\'ve moved a lot in my life time. I tried out Budget Van Lines for my last move (from Seattle to San Diego) and I have to say, these guys know their business. The BVL representative I called handled my move very professionally. I probably could\'ve found someone else to do the job, but I doubt anyone would\'ve done it as well. You have my recommendation!

Budget Van Lines Inc
I really do appreciate everything that this company has done for me. Budget Van Lines really did give me the peace of mind i needed. Our household is a very hectic place to begin with. I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old and to tell you the truth they are a handful! When my husband brought me the news of our big move i was worried it would be harder than we could handle. Long story short, Budget Van Lines to the rescue! They helped us out in finding the right moving company and now were sitting in our new home safe and sound. The only complaint i have is not hearing about this company sooner.

Moving Tips
Packing Your Mirrors
Packing mirrors require special attention. You can safely wrap your mirrors in tissue paper or cover the mirror face with masking tape. However, if you have more expensive mirrors to move, you should consider investing in boxes that are specifically designed for transporting mirrors.
Taking Inventory
Taking inventory is a great way of organizing and managing all of the different tasks you have to keep track of, and if you format it in a checklist style, you can easily separate the things you have yet to do and what you’ve already completed. Also, make note of the conditions of your belongings so that you have something to refer to once your belongings have been transported to your new home.
Items Not Recommended To Move
The following are items you should not leave for the movers to transport: -Financial documents -Certificates of deposit -IRA’s-Stocks-Bonds-Airline tickets-Car keys-Address books-Checkbook-Computer disk storage-Family photographs-Wedding albums-Personal video tapes-Insurance policies-Deeds-Prescription medications-Medical and dental records-School records-Documents pertaining to new home-Open containers such as shampoos, dish soap, and liquor are not recommended because they may leak.-Candles are not recommended because they may melt and cause damage to other property.
Jewelry
For your jewelry, it would be in your best interest to invest in a security box for safekeeping, preferably one with a lock. You should also get your expensive jewelry appraised and if you haven’t already, possibly insured before any large scale moves. Keep in mind that the security box should be small enough for you to transport yourself.
