NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEIR U.S. DOT and NYS DOT NUMBERS AS SHOWN ON THEIR WEBSITE ARE FAKE. In my lifetime I have been involved with at least 40 moves. I have moved from state to state and locally. Many of the moves were in NY and Long Island. But NOTHING could have prepared me for this move. Never have I encountered such laziness. It took 2.5 hours to move a few pieces of furniture and some miscellaneous items that fit into a 10' x 10' storage unit with room to spare. When we arrived at the storage unit, they demanded an additional $124 cash. They would not unload the truck unless we paid it, to cover travel time. This was never supposed to be part of the cost. BEWARE - even though the second part of the move (unloading the truck and putting everything into storage) took only 1 hour, they charge you for two times the time taken for the loading. So we were charged for 5 hours for a 3.5 hour job. Travel time was not supposed to be an extra charge, per the original agreement. Then to make matters worse, I was ***ually har***ed by one of the movers and when I told him to concentrate on the job and get it done, he tried to intimidate me and worked even slower. I wound up doing a large part of the moving myself. THESE GUYS ARE THE WORST IN THE INDUSTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
