Jewelry For your jewelry, it would be in your best interest to invest in a security box for safekeeping, preferably one with a lock. You should also get your expensive jewelry appraised and if you haven’t already, possibly insured before any large scale moves. Keep in mind that the security box should be small enough for you to transport yourself. Interstate Carriers There are two things you need to know if you’re considering on hiring an interstate carrier. In the case of any losses or damages that might happen during transit, interstate moving companies need to have or offer some kind of settlement plan. The company’s tariffs should also be available to anyone who wants a copy.
