Properly Packing Boxes Keep in mind that your movers will more than likely inspect your boxes for safety reasons. To prevent crushing or shifting, invest in corrugated or molded foams to protect your heavier belongings instead of packing paper or peanuts. Heavy cushioning could mean the difference between seeing your items safely home and finding them damaged after you unpack.
