Weigh Down the Washer Machine If you’re planning on moving your washer machine, you can weigh down the appliance to keep it from moving around by filling it with blankets, pillows, hand towels, and other similar items. Take Your Time Unpacking Once you reach your new home, stretch out your unpacking by prioritizing what’s needed immediately. Assembling your furniture ought to be first on the list.
