Packing for College Moving to college is an exciting time for every inexperienced young person looking to leave the family fold. Due to this, would-be college students often go overboard when they’re deciding what to bring with them. When you’re moving to college, think about the bare essentials and what’s already been provided: a desk, mini-fridge, bed, bookcase, coat hangers, etc. Be sure to find out what is acceptable and what isn’t prior to moving in. For example, in most campuses microwaves aren’t allowed in the dormitories. Moving Labor If you have friends with strong backs or family members who can lend a helping hand, you can save money by asking them to help you out on moving day. That way, you’ll have all of your furniture and belongings ready for loading before the movers arrive, and it’ll expedite the process so you can be one step closer to getting to your new home. Naturally, moving your belongings without hired help comes with its own risks. Movers are professionally trained to handle your belongings with the least amount of risk. Heavy Duty Moving If you’re looking for a full service mover that transports heavy cargo like boats and RVs, keep in mind that there are certain regulations placed by the Department of Transportation that movers have to abide by. For heavy equipment such as tractors, moving companies should offer specific accommodations for safe transportation such as registered blade guards, an adequately sized pintle hook, and wide selection of trailers. Some moving companies don’t even require you to disassemble your equipment. Take steps in figuring out which available service works for you and go from there when you’re looking for a company to move your heavy equipment. When Moving Your Piano When preparing to move your piano, there are a few things you should keep in mind before you start. First, you should know the approximate weight of your instrument. Baby grand pianos weigh around 500 to 800 pounds, and longer grand pianos can weigh up to 1200 pounds respectively. You should never rely on the piano's casters to move the piano as most are simply meant for decorative purposes. By forcing the casters to move across your floor, you risk jamming the casters, possibly tearing and gouging your carpet or floor. A 4-wheel piano dolly is absolutely essential.

Midlands Specialty Svc Don't ever put your things in this storage or have them move f... 1.0
Don't ever put your things in this storage or have them move for you. My funiture is damaged. Very unprofessional..answer the phone by saying simply HELLO. NO sort of greeting at all. Don't expect for you to tell this company anything as far was what you expect because they will not obey. They simply removed money from my account when I told them not to do so still haven't received my money back. The worst experience I ever had.
