Moving Doctor Inc
I used these guys...price was 3800.00. They came to the house, loaded my stuff till their truck was full, then told me they couldn\'t get the rest-the truck was full. Now, I\'m in North Carolina and part of my stuff is in Memphis. They came out and say EVERYTHING I had before giving me a price, and I even sold several pieces before the move. Now they tell me for 1400.00 more, they will bring me the rest of my stuff!!! DON\'T USE!!!

Moving Tips
Appliance Checkup
Be proactive about making sure that your appliances are hooked up and running smoothly once you move in. It’s also a good way of checking to see if your utilities are connected.
Take Your Time Unpacking
Once you reach your new home, stretch out your unpacking by prioritizing what’s needed immediately. Assembling your furniture ought to be first on the list. Try unpacking a few boxes at a time and take frequent breaks before starting up again. You can also quicken the unpacking process by moving all of the boxes into their designated room so you know where they go.
Using Your Old Shoeboxes
For shoe aficionados, if you’ve kept the original shoeboxes that your collection of shoes came with, moving them will be that much easier. Not only will it save you from purchasing new boxes, it’ll also prevent any visual damage to your footwear. If you don’t have the shoeboxes your shoes came in, don’t stack them all into a single box without wrapping them in some protective cover individually.
Short on Boxes?
If you find yourself short on boxes, you can always acquire heavier carton boxes from liquor stores, super markets, paper warehouses or mail order supply houses. Some moving supply companies offer used boxes for lower prices as well.
