Clean Out the Fridge Have you taken care of your refrigerator? Remember, you need to empty, defrost, and clean it out before the movers can load it. We recommend that you unplug your refrigerator and freezer at least 24 hours in advance before loading day. Leave the doors open so that they may come up to room temperature and air dry.
Weigh Down the Washer Machine If you’re planning on moving your washer machine, you can weigh down the appliance to keep it from moving around by filling it with blankets, pillows, hand towels, and other similar items.
Open Lines of Communication You should always have open lines of communication with your driver and moving coordinator in order to provide loading details, and whether or not the client still intends on moving everything on the estimate. Be sure to have your phone turned off late on moving day or better yet, late the next day.
Organizing Packing Boxes Once you’ve figured out all of the packing supplies you will need, try grouping similar-sized boxes together. You should have separate piles designated for certain items. This way, you won’t have to sort through heavy piles for a particular box you need.

Oasis Moving Inc milford polk 20 Jul 2011 these guys ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL at all.i am stillwaiting for a... these guys ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL at all.i am stillwaiting for all of my belongings to be delivered to arkansas where i am living. i keep on getting the run around when i am getting my stuff. i am missing a lg 37in. screen tv,an ashley bed frame,foundation for my select comfortbed& the air pump to it as well,an ashley dinette set,ahyla vaccum cleaner,2 brand new recliners,lockbox,steamshark,&a dumbell weight set {jillian michaels}.this has been going on for about 3 weeks already and all they was knock off 100.00 dollars,no reembursement otherwise,& we are still waiting.to be honest i am considering filing Criminal charges because i feel like i was ripped off. Is this the way people in Texas treats people,is this how they do business? 1.0000
