Registering In a New State When you’re moving long distance, you should prioritize what items should be packed first amongst other considerations. Registering your car is also something to be aware of since you’ll assumedly be crossing into another state. Remember that each state has its own set of rules in terms of vehicle registration and tags, so be sure to research it prior to your move. That way, you can take the necessary steps once you’re there. Local Moving Services Local moving services can be found in your local directory or just by searching for them online. Don’t hesitate to inquire about their services or for more specific details in order to have a larger picture of how they operate. There are many websites online that compile lists of local moving companies with their contact information for your convenience. Preparing Pots and Pans for Moving Although pots and pans vary in size, you can usually nest about three of each together in a single carton. Make sure you have large enough pieces of packing paper to cover the entire interior of your largest pan and leave some cushioning on the bottom of the crate. The first pot or pan you place inside the box should be the smallest in size. The pan or pot should be upside down with several sheets of packing paper on top of it before you stack the next one. Once you've stacked three, fill the spaces with packing material to prevent shifting. Taking Out Shelves Anything with shelves should be removed from their respective pieces of furniture before you move. This includes bookcases, television stands, curio and china cabinets, and hutches. Be sure to keep your shelf pins together in the same plastic bag once you're done.

Easy moving company is lousy. They are losers and don\\\'t know where to go. While I was signing papers in office, they took off with my belongings after I paid them to unload. I was devasted and in shock. I called the company and they refused to give back anything. \r\nI phoned them after the fact and they said we stand on our word. Nothing bad happened. \r\nWhat a joke!
