Fill Out Your Prescription Do you have prescription medication you need to take on a routine basis? Be sure to fill out your prescription before you move so that you don’t have to worry about it. On moving day, make sure your medication is separated from your other items so that they don’t get mixed with everything else being loaded onto the truck. Your Emergency Backpack It’s a good idea to have an emergency kit or backpack ready as you move to your new home. You should reserve this backpack for unforeseen cases and pack it appropriately with all of the essential items. For example, you should have a small toiletry kit, bottles of water, a change of clothing, a first aid kid, and a flashlight in there. Packing Your Mirrors Packing mirrors require special attention. You can safely wrap your mirrors in tissue paper or cover the mirror face with masking tape. However, if you have more expensive mirrors to move, you should consider investing in boxes that are specifically designed for transporting mirrors. Number by Priority One way of prioritizing your items for the move is by assigning numbers from most important to least important. Mark a 1 on all of your boxes that contain items you need immediately or on a regular basis. You should mark a 2 on boxes that have items you won't be using right away, but possibly within a month or so such as books and movies. A 3 should be assigned to seasonal items, and 4 for the items meant for storage.

Arpin Van Lines Worst Customer Service EVER!!!
Do not use this company - run away fast - held our furniture hostage, wouldn't return phone calls, weren't able to speak to anyone in middle or upper management. I finally had to resort to hassling them on their facebook page to get any kind of response from them at all.

Our move from Dallas to Louisville
Arpin came well recommended from a friend. This was a big move which they seemed to be totally unprepared and untrained for. We paid $3000.00 in extra insurance to them. After filing our claim, we have never heard from them. All damage incurred was due to poor packing.

I would never use them again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.
