Plastic Durability If you have any plastic kitchen containers such as Tupperware, you can use these to protect your smaller more fragile items. If you want to insure a more shock-absorbent capacity, you can double-box the containers before placing your items inside. Moving Your Waterbed Before you move your waterbed, it may be in your best interest to invest in a protection plan in case it suffers any damage during transit. You'll want to drain the waterbed mattress with a drain pump, or if you're pressed for time, an electric pump which can deflate a waterbed mattress in half an hour. The time it takes to drain is contingent on what type of mattress you have and the water pressure. Once that's done, make sure you fold it from head to foot and pack it away in a carton. Make sure that there isn't anything inside that could potentially puncture it.

You Cannot Count on them
They came recommended by our realtor so I thought I would give them a try. After a first phone call I wasn't very impressed but was still willing to go forward based on our realtor's recommendation. It took several days to get a return phone call and set up the move. We finally had a date and time confirmed, but they DID NOT SHOW UP! Nor did they call to let us know they were running late. When we called they asked to postpone the entire move by a day, coming two hours earlier (not convenient) and with an extra man at our expense. We hired someone else.
