Packing Your Mirrors Packing mirrors require special attention. You can safely wrap your mirrors in tissue paper or cover the mirror face with masking tape. However, if you have more expensive mirrors to move, you should consider investing in boxes that are specifically designed for transporting mirrors.
Moving Your Pool Table The difference between a piano and a pool table is that the latter can be disassembled. If you don’t want to spend a lot of time taking apart your pool table, make sure to have a prepared path for the movers. Check to see if the path is clear by ridding anything that may be blocking the way. Also, pay attention to the walkway outside and make note if the sidewalk is broken, etc.
Loading the Trailer If you’re loading your boxes into a truck, be sure to get the heavier items inside first and the lighter items towards the back of the truck. This will prevent your truck from being unbalanced. Also, load the truck a quarter at a time and fit everything as tightly together as possible.
Transporting Medicine Before you pack your medicine for moving, seal all of the caps with masking tape. Naturally, your medicine bottles should be packed in an upright position. For certain drugs such as insulin, exposure to heat can cause it to lose potency. Talk to your pharmacist and inquire about what measures you can take to prevent this. It's recommended that you transport your own medication.

A 1 Movers Trevorling 26 Nov 2011 Do I even have to put a star? This business operates on borde... Do I even have to put a star? This business operates on borderline fraudulence. I asked the owner, specifically, \"From the time the movers arrive to the time they leave the destination after unpacking, it is $50 per hour and $25 for the truck?\" \"Yes,\" he said. I asked if there were extra fees, and he said no. The day of the move, the movers arrive 1.5 HOURS LATE. I had told him two days in a row, and he had confirmed, that they would arrive at 11. He said he had noon down. When the movers arrive, they show me the contract. DOUBLE the hours from pick up to ARRIVAL at the destination and an extra hour for stairs since I live on the second floor (after I told him after HE asked me what floor I was on). Then I was informed that the door on the back of the truck had fallen off...this is what the owner sent, a truck where my items could potentially fall out. The actual movers were nice. The OWNER is rude and apathetic. I\'m telling everyone to avoid them. BTW, 14 complaints at the BBB. 1.0000

Latin Movers Mad About Delay 11 Nov 2011 They came recommended by our realtor so I thought I would give... They came recommended by our realtor so I thought I would give them a try. After a first phone call I wasn\'t very impressed but was still willing to go forward based on our realtor\'s recommendation. It took several days to get a return phone call and set up the move. We finally had a date and time confirmed, but they DID NOT SHOW UP! Nor did they call to let us know they were running late. When we called they asked to postpone the entire move by a day, coming two hours earlier (not convenient) and with an extra man at our expense. We hired someone else. 1.0000
