Wiping Up Residue Once you move into your new home, take some time to check inside your cabinets and drawers. Mark a 1 on all of your boxes that contain items you need immediately or on a regular basis. You should mark a 2 on boxes that have items you won't be using right away, but possibly within a month or so such as books and movies.
