Preparing Your Antiques for Moving First and foremost, you should have your antiques appraised by a qualified party. Before you have your movers transport your antiques, clean your valuables with appropriate products specifically designed for cleaning antiques. You can find these at antique, furniture, or hardware stores. Don't hesitate to give your movers directions on the proper care and handling your antiques require.
