Fill Out Your Prescription Do you have prescription medication you need to take on a routine basis? Be sure to fill out your prescription before you move so that you don’t have to worry about it. On moving day, make sure your medication is separated from your other items so that they don’t get mixed with everything else being loaded onto the truck. Preparing the Pets Have you made arrangements for your pets? Consider visiting the vet before moving day. Be sure to take this opportunity to get your pet’s veterinary records. You don’t want to leave it to the last minute. Jewelry For your jewelry, it would be in your best interest to invest in a security box for safekeeping, preferably one with a lock. You should also get your expensive jewelry appraised and if you haven’t already, possibly insured before any large scale moves.
