Clean, Then Pack Before you start packing your belongings, clean your house first. This is a great way of ridding yourself of unnecessary clutter, figuring out what you want to keep, and starting your checklist. It’ll also give you more floor space for your supplies and to group boxes.
Packing Clothes When it comes to your clothes, there are a variety of different ways to pack them. For your daily clothes that you wear at home, you can simply fold and put them in plastic or vacuum-sealed bags. For your work clothes and more expensive garments, you should consider purchasing wardrobe boxes with hanging bars. Protective plastic covers are also a good investment for jackets and dresses.
Plastic Durability If you have any plastic kitchen containers such as Tupperware, you can use these to protect your smaller more fragile items. If you want to insure a more shock-absorbent capacity, you can double-box the containers before placing your items inside.
Save Money, Eat In Moving takes a lot of time, especially packing. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't take some time to cook your own food. Eating fast food can be expensive, particularly if you're doing it day after day. This is also the best time for you to eat all of your frozen food given that perishable items can't be transported by movers. Also, canned food is a pain to pack and transport. You should finish them off as well.

Economy Movers Inc Kate 27 Oct 2010 Horrible, horrible, horrible experience with this company. Rud... Horrible, horrible, horrible experience with this company. Rude and unprofessional men the day of the move. They scratched our hardwood floors, broke our front storm door and deeply scratched several pieces of furniture. They broke legs off of two dressers and gouged the wood at the top of our stairs. They also broke the lid on my $1800 kiln. I called to speak to the owner before the movers left our house. Despite his assurances over the phone, over a month after the move and they are refusing the fix any of the damage or pay to have it fixed. Working with them on getting anything fixed has been extremely frustrating. They do not return calls and drag their feet on any correspondence. They obviously care little about customer service. They are only paying a small portion of the cost to have the kiln lid replaced even though the movers intentionally moved it the way I told them would cause damage. HORRIBLE COMPANY with terrible customer service. BEWARE! 1.0000
