Doctor's Orders If you’re moving to a completely different city, be sure to ask your doctor or your health insurance company to refer a care provider for you. Short on Boxes? If you find yourself short on boxes, you can always acquire heavier carton boxes from liquor stores, super markets, paper warehouses or mail order supply houses. Some moving supply companies offer used boxes for lower prices as well. Preparing Pots and Pans for Moving Although pots and pans vary in size, you can usually nest about three of each together in a single carton. Make sure you have large enough pieces of packing paper to cover the entire interior of your largest pan and leave some cushioning on the bottom of the crate. The first pot or pan you place inside the box should be the smallest in size. The pan or pot should be upside down with several sheets of packing paper on top of it before you stack the next one. Once you've stacked three, fill the spaces with packing material to prevent shifting. Measuring Doorways Your new home may look nice and comfy, but there are some things you should keep in mind before you move in. One such detail is the width of your doorways. Be sure to measure them so you can figure out whether or not you can move your furniture and appliances in without any difficulty.

Economy Movers Inc Horrible, horrible, horrible experience with this company. Rud... 1.0
Horrible, horrible, horrible experience with this company. Rude and unprofessional men the day of the move. They scratched our hardwood floors, broke our front storm door and deeply scratched several pieces of furniture. They broke legs off of two dressers and gouged the wood at the top of our stairs. They also broke the lid on my $1800 kiln.

I called to speak to the owner before the movers left our house. Despite his assurances over the phone, over a month after the move and they are refusing the fix any of the damage or pay to have it fixed. Working with them on getting anything fixed has been extremely frustrating. They do not return calls and drag their feet on any correspondence. They obviously care little about customer service. They are only paying a small portion of the cost to have the kiln lid replaced even though the movers intentionally moved it the way I told them would cause damage. HORRIBLE COMPANY with terrible customer service. BEWARE!
