Packing Your Mirrors Packing mirrors require special attention. You can safely wrap your mirrors in tissue paper or cover the mirror face with masking tape. However, if you have more expensive mirrors to move, you should consider investing in boxes that are specifically designed for transporting mirrors.
Take Your Time Unpacking Once you reach your new home, stretch out your unpacking by prioritizing what’s needed immediately. Assembling your furniture ought to be first on the list. Try unpacking a few boxes at a time and take frequent breaks before starting up again. You can also quicken the unpacking process by moving all of the boxes into their designated room so you know where they go.

Organizing Packing Boxes Once you’ve figured out all of the packing supplies you will need, try grouping similar-sized boxes together. You should have separate piles designated for certain items. This way, you won’t have to sort through heavy piles for a particular box you need.

When it was the day of delivery, they never showed. Three days later, after the found our furniture because they \\\\\\\"lost\\\\\\\" it, we rec\\\\\\\'d our house full of goods. After filing a claim over $10000.00 due to missing, damaged, destroyed items and fighting for over four months, we rec\\\\\\\'d our settlement through their insurance company. However, Apple Transfer itself is responsible for paying out a $1000 deductible to us, which to this day May of 2012, almost a year later, we still have not received. My husband calls 2-3 times a week inquiring about it and is always told to stop calling or that it has been mailed. It is about the principle of the situation at this point, not the money. There has not been one person that was friendly to us, helpful, or compassionate that most of our belongings were destroyed or missing. DO NOT USE this company if you do not have to. We should have known something was wrong when their packers told us they were late because they did not care about working due to their paychecks bouncing from their bank. 1.0000

Our computers (laptops) were packed by two of their movers but never arrived at the new location. No explanation just a bill. They arrived late, were rude and overcharged us for everything. The owners (Mr. and Mrs. Reid) almost threatened my life when I objected to the charges and our lost equipment. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! 1.0000

They damaged several household items of mine and did a terrible job of packing with non-responsive staff. When I tried to collect onmy insurance on the household items they tried to prevent me from collecting because it would raise their rates. No integrity--do not use Matthews Moving under any circumstance. 1.0000
